Member Services Representative at Maine Public Employees Retirement System – Augusta, Maine

Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) seeks a friendly, energetic, and organized person to join our Member Services Representative team. The candidate must have excellent customer service, attention to detail and be able to multi-task and redirect focus with frequent interruptions. Primary responsibilities focus on quality customer service in assisting our members (State, Teacher, and Participating Local District employees) at various stages of their membership. The work may include receiving paperwork and ensuring its completeness and accuracy prior to forwarding along to appropriate departments; processing changes; retrieving account information for members and explaining the information to them, both over the phone and in person. MainePERS is an established, professional and dynamic organization that manages a variety of employee benefits for Maine’s public sector workers.

Associates Degree or four (4) years of responsible, self-directed work experience in an office environment with customer service focus with call center experience preferred.
