Lactation Consultant-RN
SUMMARY: SUMMARY:Works under the direction of maternal child health leadership to provide support and care for the lactating patient. Specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding and lactation, advocates for breastfeeding as a global health imperative, and promotes environments that support breastfeeding.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year breastfeeding counseling experience
OTHER: Basic Computer Skills.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)
EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing, Preferred: Bachelors - Nursing
