- Advise and guide clients through the mortgage process from initial inquiry to closing, providing clear, consistent communication and support at each step
- Assess borrowers’ financial profiles—income, credit, assets, liabilities—to recommend loan products aligned with their goals and qualifications
- Educate clients on mortgage programs, rates, terms, and the homebuying process to support informed decisions
- Conduct consultations to evaluate borrower needs, establish trust, and move qualified leads forward
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, and building relationships with referral partners such as real estate agents and attorneys
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through diligent follow-up using CRM and marketing tools
- Collect and review borrower documentation to ensure file accuracy and completeness in accordance with lending guidelines
- Collaborate with internal processing and underwriting teams to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant loan closings
- Stay current on market trends, lending products, and industry regulations to deliver knowledgeable and relevant advice
- Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen sales, finance, and product knowledge
- Ability to obtain NMLS license (company provides training and support prior to employment)
- Strong drive to succeed in a competitive, performance-based environment

- Financial acumen and ability to learn mortgage products and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
