Marketing Manager in Marion, Illinois at Pepsi MidAmerica

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Coordinate and develop all marketing, promotional, incentive and prime mover events with all personnel concerned relating to designated brands. Objective being to thrust designated brands in marketplace and increase availability and sales.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Supervises: None

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop all programs relating to designated brands, including phase promo.

2. Make recommendations to correct problem brand areas working the TSR’s, ASM’s and Division Managers.

3. Monitor progress of pre-sales promotion results and make necessary changes to insure successful promotion.

4. Monitor execution of promotions to determine if promotions were successful, and report results.

5. Arrange media coverage and secure appropriate P.O.P. material for each promotion.

6. Oversee CMA development, tracking, selling and payments

7. Work with Parent Company on programs/promotions for brands and also obtain funding.

8. Monthly Spar/Sales review with Division Manager.

9. Submit monthly reports on sales and marketing plus daily reports.

BRAND DEVELOPMENT:

  1. App to promote new Sales sheets and promotions to the field directly to their Ipads
• Dollar General
  1. Ensure Dollar General activity including display execution,pricing, brand launches,etc.
  2. Create merchandiser incentives
  3. Work with ASM’s on product approvals and brand launches
• Full-Line
  1. Update Full-Line pocket cards quarterly (as needed) and manage the approved SKU list
• Grocery
  1. Work with ASM’s to include major account information into monthly newsletter
• C-Store
  1. Works with ASM’s to include major account information into newsletter
