Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of our bourbon aging warehouses. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper aging, storage, and inventory management of our bourbon barrels while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Functions:
Pushing, pulling, rolling, and heading up barrels weighing up to 500 pounds
Load barrels in warehouse ricks, aligning barrels into correct position in rick/tier 3 high
Remove barrels from warehouse rick locations for dumping
Head up, push, and maneuver 500-pound barrels in truck for transport to other locations
Capable of standing for extended periods of time; sitting, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
Required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Adhere to inventory tracking systems to monitor the movement and location of bourbon barrels and other inventory items.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure accurate product labeling and tracking.
Adhere to quality control measures to safeguard the integrity of bourbon barrels and prevent product loss or damage.
Conduct regular inspections of barrels for leaks, damage, or other defects, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
Assist with inbound and outbound shipments of bourbon barrels, finished goods, and materials.
Adhere to all bottling and barrel dumping procedures for bottling line.
Ensure quality in bottling process and adhere to all labeling requirements.
Additional Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred).
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and quality assurance processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a distillery environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and strong odors.
Must be able to adhere to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.
