Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. This person will oversee the agencys accounting processes and play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and timeliness of our financial reporting. Youll partner closely with the CFO and Project Finance Analyst, and have the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger
- Maintain and improve monthly close process: intercompany entries, journal entries, balance sheet/income statement reconciliations, and COGS calculation
- Manage corporate card reconciliations and monitor credit limits/fraud
- Produce weekly financial reporting and cash flow forecasts
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting best practices
- Compile monthly financial close packets for senior leadership
- Support CFO with audit preparation and strategic financial analysis
- Learn and leverage our accounting and project management system (Workbook by Deltek) to manage data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Serve as a finance point of contact across teams to resolve issues and improve processes
What Youll Need:
- 610 years of accounting experience, ideally within a marketing/advertising/creative agency environment
- Proven ability to independently manage and improve accounting processes and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency in accounting software (Workbook/Deltek experience a strong plus)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn, improve processes, and take ownership of outcomes
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Keynote a plus
- International accounting experience or multi-currency exposure is a bonus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or pursuit of certification a plus
