About This Position
Job Summary:
We’re looking for an analytical and extrovertive Sales Estimator to join our team at JMAC Group LLC. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project scopes, and supporting proposal development for construction and safety projects. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, visit potential project sites, and play a key part in ensuring JMAC’s bids are competitive, precise, and client-focused. This position offers both office and field exposure—ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to grow within a supportive and mission-driven company. This dual-role position that combines the precision of inside estimating with the relationship-building and site expertise of outside fieldwork. Offering both structure and variety—balancing time in the office with boots-on-the-ground visits to client sites and prospects.

Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates using company templates and pricing tools
Evaluate project scope via architectural drawings, specifications, and site visits
Travel to prospective job sites to assess physical conditions and gather scope details
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure estimate accuracy and bid feasibility
Draft and submit sealed bids, proposals, and subcontractor documents
Log and track activity using CRM and proposal software
Follow up on open proposals and respond to client inquiries
Maintain clear records of all estimates and interactions
Assess production capability based on bid requests and project specifications

Requirements:
Experience in estimating, project coordination, or client-facing work preferred
Associate degree in Construction Management or relevant field is a plus
Ability to read architectural and structural drawings helpful (not required)
Understanding of construction materials is a bonus
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Functional Specific (Project Management, Commercial Sales, Home Services)
Must be comfortable working both in-office and at job sites in the field
Must be comfortable with both inside and outside sales.
