Requirements:Role Description We are seeking full-time, on-site Podiatry Medical Assistants to join our team at one of our locations in Loxahatchee, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, or Jupiter, FL. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service while assisting with procedures, patient vitals, medical documentation, and daily office operations. Candidates with previous podiatry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Assist the podiatrist with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures as directed.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and in-office podiatric procedures.
- Wound Care, assisting with nail procedures, cast and splint care.
- Rooming patients, vitals, collecting history, medication reconciliations, injections, blood draws, etc
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician's office or outpatient clinical setting.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Athena experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Medical Assisting is a plus
- Previous experience in a podiatry or medical office setting is beneficial
