Cost Accountant at CERTITEMP, INC. – Warner Robins, Georgia

The purpose of this position is to apply principles of accounting to prepare, maintain and analyze financial information that has an impact on the financial position of the company by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Compiles information for financial purposes up to and including statements. Analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.

Audits, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in general ledger and journal entry inputs.

Maintains cost information.

Prepares financial schedules including lease, loan and accruals.

Handles accounts payables for specials accounts.

Reconciles accounts.

Collects appropriate data for federal, state, and local reports and tax returns to ensure tax compliance.

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in accounting plus 3 - 5 years of related experience in accounting.

Certificates and Licenses:

No certifications or licenses required.
