- Must be able to work non-standard work hours. May exceed 40 hours a week.

Summary:

- The Manager of Quality oversees the Quality program of the hospital and ambulatory clinics to ensure delivery of high quality patient care. The manager is accountable for leading the overall direction, strategy, development and operational achievement of the Hospital's plan for a comprehensive organization wide Quality Management System and Performance Improvement program. The manager is directly involved in the organization’s accreditation process in collaboration with various other associates.

SKILLS and ABILITIES
-
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Quality Management, Health Care Administration, or related field required.

Experience:
- Five years experience in health care management with documented achievements and leadership in quality management and leadership in system and process improvements supporting reduction of medical errors and improving patient safety.

Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Certificates & Licenses:
- Licensed in field of clinical expertise, Health Care Administration, or a related field preferred.

Other Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of accreditation requirements, State and Federal laws and regulations, productivity and cost management, and service delivery required. This position requires constant use of hands and fingers as well as frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting and carrying 0-20 lbs and pushing and pulling 0-25 lbs.
