Required Related ExperiencePrior experience in conducting/assisting with empirical research, including the use of Qualtrics, is preferred but not required. If not already completed, human subjects research training required by the university IRB must be completed within two weeks of employment.

ShiftApproximately 10 hours per week, most days and times flexible. There will be some on-site data collection activities in Lexington that will require a physical presence and occur at specific times.
Job SummaryA faculty member in the School of Information Science is seeking to hire an hourly graduate student assistant to provide support for journal editorial duties and assistance with data collection and analysis for two research studies. Responsibilities include assisting with: identification of potential reviewers for journal manuscripts; development of a survey instrument for a study focused on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in public library storytimes; data collection for a study focused on youth perceptions of librarians; preparing data for analysis; and other duties as assigned. It is expected that this position will be approximately 10/hours week, with most days and time flexible. There will be some on-site data collection activities in Lexington that will require a physical presence and occur at specific times.
