Description:

We are a proud, Veteran-Owned, local equipment rental business looking for an experienced mechanic to help keep our equipment in tip-top shape. We have a great team environment and offer a nice benefit package.

What You’ll Do
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment (mini excavators, skid steers, etc.) and small tools (generators, power tools, landscaping equipment).
  • Perform routine maintenance, oil changes, and part replacements to keep the rental fleet in excellent condition.
  • Maintain service records and communicate needed repairs with management.
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver rental equipment to job sites using company vehicles (including truck & trailer).
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service when delivering and picking up equipment.
  • Assist in shop organization and ensure tools and parts inventory is stocked.
  • Follow all safety protocols for both shop work and driving.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience as a mechanic (heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, or small engine repair preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus, but not required).
  • Ability to operate and maintain various rental equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with occasional heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and working outdoors.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Small engine repair
  • Diesel engine repair
  • Excellent knowledge of hydraulic machinery, electrical and other systems.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to identify colors.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and assembly drawings.
  • Familiarity with various mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
