Digital Printer at Ahead LLC – New Bedford, Massachusetts

Ahead, LLC is hiring a Digital Printer!

We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team. The Digital Printer will be responsible for accessing computerized art files and accurately printing them onto prepared materials and garments. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a keen eye for color to ensure high-quality results.

SCHEDULE:

• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7 am-noon) as required

COMPENSATION: The hourly pay range reflects the actual compensation that Ahead, LLC; the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of hire. The final offer will be determined by a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.

• $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cut and spray material to prepare for printing.
• Access computerized art files and print onto prepared material.
• Apply heat seal to backs of printed materials.
• Use Direct to Garment (DTG) software to access art files.
• Print images on material
• Removal of excess material after the images have been cut
• Pressing of decoration on material
• Additional duties as assigned.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform machine maintenance.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Basic knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of other relevant computer software and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must have an eye for color.
• Good technical ability.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Must possess initiative, energy, and drive.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Use hands and fingers to handle, touch, and type.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 5 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to moderate noise level.

VISION REQUIREMENT:

• Close vision.
• Color vision.
• Ability to adjust focus
