Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and empathetic Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of children and adolescents. This counselor will work closely with children experiencing a variety of emotional, developmental, and behavioral concerns, providing individualized care through counseling and collaboration with our interdisciplinary team.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide individual and/or family counseling services for pediatric patients, ages 3–18Conduct intake assessments, diagnose mental health disorders when appropriate, and develop individualized treatment plansUse evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as play therapy, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or other appropriate interventionsCollaborate with caregivers, therapists (OT, PT, Speech, ABA), and external providers (e.g., school personnel, pediatricians) to support holistic careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR systemParticipate in team meetings, case consultations, and internal referralsProvide parental education and support as part of the therapeutic processMaintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and legal/ethical guidelines for clinical practiceOffer crisis intervention or referrals when necessaryStay informed on current research and trends in pediatric mental healthQualifications & Requirements:

Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field requiredActive Indiana state license as LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent (required)Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in outpatient or school-based settings (preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinicTrauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and neurodiversity-affirming approachProficiency with EMR systems and basic office softwarePassion for helping children and families thriveCore Competencies:
