Lifeguard (seasonal) at Saucon Valley Country Club – Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Saucon Valley Country Club (SVCC) is looking to hire seasonal certified lifeguards to ensure the safety of our Members and their guests. We will have full and part-time seasonal positions available. The season runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Job Description:

• Recognize and respond to emergency situations and administer first aid.
• Enforce Club safety policies and rules to prevent accidents.
• Build positive relationships with SVCC Members and your colleagues.
• Inspect pool facility daily and reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor.
• Assist in setting up and taking down/ storing various pool equipment e.g., lane lines, etc.
• Perform light cleaning duties such as trash removal, general cleanup etc.
• Participate in regular in-service training sessions as required.
• Assist Pool Director as required.

• Active lifeguard certification*
• Prefer certification in CPR & AED
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 1-2 years of experience, preferred
• Availability to work weekends & holidays
