Systems Engineer in Syracuse, New York at Crouse Hospital

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the successful installation, security and support of new sub-system hardware and software on Open Systems platforms with an emphasis on server components. In addition this role provides support and maintenance functions to existing systems.

Job Requirements:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and/or acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Minimum of five (5) years work experience as a Systems Engineer with at least one Open Systems platform used at Crouse Hospital.

Special Skills/Equipment: Proficient user of MS Office. Must have in-depth knowledge of system, database Sub-System and file structures and possess advanced analytical skills. Proficient knowledge of system design and the ability to manipulate AIX and/or MS Windows operating systems and their utilities.
