Job Description
Thayer, LLC is growing—and our Service Department is at the center of that growth. We’re looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to support increased demand. This is a seasonal role with a strong path to full-time based on performance and business needs.
Role Overview
This position is critical to maintaining operational flow and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate service calls, support technicians in the field, and ensure work is scheduled, executed, and closed efficiently. Success in this role directly impacts response times, technician productivity, and the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Dispatch technicians using our Mobile Tech / COINS Field Service Management system to maximize efficiency and responsiveness
• Intake customer calls, gather accurate information, and prioritize service needs
• Maintain clear, professional communication with customers and field technicians
• Monitor and manage the lifecycle of service orders to ensure timely completion
• Support weekly payroll processes by reconciling technician time entries
• Issue purchase orders and assist with material coordination as needed
• Escalate customer concerns and operational issues to leadership for resolution
• Collaborate closely with the Call Center Supervisor and Service Manager to maintain service standards

• Work orders move through the system without unnecessary delays
• Customers feel informed, respected, and well taken care of
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
• Professional, customer-first mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to learn and navigate ERP/FSM systems
Preferred (Not Required)
• Dispatch or scheduling experience
• Familiarity with HVAC or service-based industries
Requirements:
