Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Ft Worth, TX - Hybrid, minimum 3 days onsite per week
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus Eligible

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to manage and continuously improve our systems, networks, and IT infrastructure supporting our Fort Worth, TX operations and other offices. Due to export control and customer requirements, successful applicants must be U.S. citizens. This role plays a key part in maintaining a secure, compliant IT environment supporting defense, aerospace, and embedded systems customers. You will take ownership of core infrastructure and security operations, helping strengthen our security posture and compliance readiness (including environments aligned with NIST SP 800‑171 and CMMC requirements) as the company grows. Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments, with a focus on GCC High workloadsPlan and execute security‑focused infrastructure improvements, including hardening, segmentation, access controls, and monitoringAdminister and secure Windows and Linux servers, endpoints, and core network servicesSupport remote and distributed teams through secure access solutions (VPN, conditional access, privileged access workflows)Actively support cybersecurity initiatives, including:Security policy development and enforcementSystem and network hardeningVulnerability remediation and configuration baselinesLog review, monitoring, and incident response supportAssist with identity and access management, including Active Directory, RBAC, Group Policy, and privileged access controlsTroubleshoot infrastructure, security, and end‑user issues while maintaining compliance requirementsMaintain accurate system, network, software, and hardware inventoriesCreate and maintain system administration guides, security runbooks, and training documentationCollaborate closely with IT, security, and engineering teams to support development and operational needs· Desktop and minor IT setup required at times, needs to be flexible
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent hands‑on experience3–5+ years of experience in cloud and/or hybrid Windows/Linux system administrationDemonstrated experience working in secure or regulated environments (e.g., GCC High, GovCloud, DoD, defense, or compliance‑driven organizations)Technical Skills
Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including:Azure (including GCC High or restricted tenants)Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (GCC High preferred)Intune / Endpoint ManagementSharePointWindows Server and Windows DesktopActive Directory expertise, including:Group Policy design and enforcementRole‑Based Access Control (RBAC)Identity lifecycle managementExperience administering remote access solutions (VPN, secure tunnels, or equivalent)Working knowledge of network and system security, including:Firewalls, IPS/IDS conceptsEndpoint and server hardeningLogging and monitoringSolid understanding of:Cloud and on‑prem storageBackup and recovery strategiesDisaster recovery and business continuityAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, OS, network, and security‑related issuesAutomation & Scripting
