Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
$42.11–$68.43 an hour — Per Diem Days, various shifts and hours per week
*Range includes per diem differential +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Days — 12 hour shifts — 6:30am–7pm (Monday–Friday)
Boulder Community Health is seeking an RN for our Cardiac Cath Recovery who will, under the direction of the department supervisor, perform professional nursing in a safe and therapeutic manner in the care and treatment of patients; provide safe, efficient and accurate technical support within the department and gives guidance and direction to auxiliary personnel. RN is responsible for meeting the essential duties and responsibilities as defined below.

Qualifications
•Valid Colorado Registered Nurse license in good standing.
•ACLS certification required by end of conditional period.
•BLS required by end of conditional period.
Experience
•Minimum of two years acute care nursing experience.
•Minimum of 1 year in cardiology preferred.
•Cardiac RN experience; conscious sedation/PACU experience; Sheath pulling experience preferred.
Responsibilities
•Provides patient care in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, and best practices
•Monitors patient condition, recognizing and responding to changes promptly
•Prepares patients for procedures, including education and emotional support
•Administers and manages conscious sedation, including monitoring and recovery
•Delivers post-procedural care, including patient teaching and complication prevention
•Recovers patients from conscious sedation and general anesthesia
•Manages high-acuity patients, including hemodynamic instability, airway support, and cardiac monitoring/interventions
•Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots specialized clinical and monitoring equipment
•Reviews pre-procedure testing and ensures readiness for safe care delivery
•Performs point-of-care testing and quality control as required
•Documents care accurately in the electronic medical record
•Demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, prioritization, and teamwork skills
