POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Director – Germany is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall operational, commercial, and strategic performance of the German business entity within a global heavy industrial projects organization. The role carries full accountability for business unit leadership, including profit and loss performance, project execution excellence, organizational development, and sustainable market growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the German business unit with full operational & commercial oversight
• Drive P&L performance and ensure sustainable growth
• Oversee execution of complex heavy industrial projects
• Strengthen project governance, risk management and operational discipline
• Build and lead high-performing technical and project teams
• Support international collaboration across global operations
• Develop strategic relationships with key clients in heavy industry sectors
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience leading a business unit or major project division within heavy industry
• Experience operating in complex EPC or industrial project environments
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility
• Solid operational leadership track record
• Engineering background preferred
• Fluency in German and English required
