About This Position
Job Summary
Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services offers companionship for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of their home. We’re searching for mature and compassionate individuals to add to our team of Caregiver-CNAs.
Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve.
Seniors Helping Seniors® Caregiver-CNAs help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, Caregiver-CNAs will support respite care and 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Dementia.
We have a need for licensed (Active or Non-Active) CNAs, experienced caregiver and HHA.

We don’t require our team to be of a certain age or possess a particular level of experience, just a passion for helping seniors in the community continue to live independently.
Our Caregiver-CNAs should encompass the following traits:
- Enjoy helping others
- Can relate to the aging process, help navigate the challenges growing older can bring
- Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community

Qualifications:
- CNA certification (Active or Non-Active), experienced caregiver and HHA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and transfer
- High school diploma or GED
- Applicants fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi and other languages are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute the care plan
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS
- Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been complete
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Working Conditions:
- The role may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Work is primarily conducted in clients' homes.
- Some physical effort may be required, including assisting with lifting and transferring clients.
