Job Summary:
The Palm Springs Surf Club is seeking friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Seasonal Guest Services Team Members for the 2026 operating season. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting guests as they arrive at the park.
- Provide information about park attractions, events, and facilities.
- Answer guest inquiries and assist with any issues or concerns.
- Assist with locker rentals and season pass/member services
- Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all visitors.
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process payments and issue receipts
- Handle ticket sales and process payments accurately.
- Operate cash registers and ticketing systems.
- Provide guests with tickets, wristbands, or other entry materials.
- Manage online ticket sales and reservations.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests.
- Keep records of ticket sales and guest interactions.
- Prepare reports on attendance and revenue.
- Assist with clerical duties such as answering phones and filing documents.
- Maintain accurate records of guest inquiries and complaints.
- Inform guests about ongoing promotions and special offers.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and events.
- Tag merchandise with promotional pricing and information.
- Encourage guests to participate in park activities and events.
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping and dusting.
- Monitor supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Assist with the maintenance of ticketing equipment and systems.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly first impression.
- Offer accurate information about park attractions, schedules, amenities, and safety guidelines.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist with locker rentals, season passes, and membership services.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process ticket sales, rentals, and merchandise purchases.
- Distribute tickets, wristbands, and other entry materials accurately and efficiently.
- Manage online ticket reservations and assist guests with digital check-in.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, guest interactions, and incident reports.
- Support daily reporting on attendance, revenue, and guest feedback.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails or messages as needed.
- Promote current park events, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
- Help set up and maintain promotional displays and signage throughout the park.
- Tag and organize merchandise with correct pricing and promotional details.
- Encourage guest participation in park activities, contests, and events.
- Keep the front desk and guest service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Perform light cleaning duties such as sweeping, wiping counters, and restocking supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or supply needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experience and safety compliance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or admissions preferred.
- Strong communication skills
