Sinai Hospital's Newly Renovated Emergency Department is currently looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager with a passion for leadership and a dedication to providing high-quality patient care.
About Sinai Hospital
Sinai Hospital is home to premier trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and surgical programs and now features a newly renovated Emergency Department designed for speed, safety, and enhanced patient flow.
The renovation includes:
• Expanded footprint nearly double its previous size
• Larger patient rooms, trauma bays, and triage areas
• New dedicated ambulance intake wing with rapid offloading design
• Expanded waiting areas for improved throughput and comfort
• Dedicated pediatric and behavioral health treatment zones
The Emergency Division includes seven distinct patient care centers:

• Chest Pain Evaluation Center
• Emergent Care Center
• Level II Trauma Center
• Pediatric Emergency Center
• Rapid Evaluation Unit (REU)

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Nurse Manager has 24/7 accountability and serves in a supportive role to the unit Nurse Manager. This role has responsibility for daily coordination of resources to ensure quality service to all customers reflecting the mission, vision, and SPIRIT values of Sinai Hospital and the Department of Patient Care Services. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assume full oversight and responsibilities for their assigned unit/s.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
- 1-3 years of Emergency Room experience required.
- 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
- PALS & ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Must be a member of a Professional Organization
- Current/Valid Maryland Registered Nurse License
