We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the seamless operation of our fast-paced food service establishment. Duties

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standards
• Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items
• Oversee POS systems and cash handling
• Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies
• Lead staff training initiatives focused on food safety, food handling, and service excellence
• Support shift management by coordinating schedules, managing labor costs, and resolving operational issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Assist in budgeting efforts and monitor financial performance to meet operational goals
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and development

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus
• Strong background in kitchen management, culinary techniques, and food preparation processes
• Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management, training & development, and performance coaching
• Proficiency with POS systems, experience with cash handling is essential
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and food safety standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead staff effectively
• Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards
• Hospitality management experience preferred
• Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Familiarity with budgeting, food production, catering services, bar operations, and overall restaurant management
