Job Overview:

Salary/Pay Rate: $35 to $40 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Field-based / Onsite (Alexandria, VA).
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday Friday, Weekends, and Overtime.
Project Scope: Residential and Commercial Plumbing
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Class A or B CDL License.
The Opportunity: You will transition from a standard driving role into a specialized technical career within an essential environmental service industry. This position empowers you to master the operation of advanced vacuum and pump equipment while providing a critical service to residential and commercial clients. How You Will Make an Impact:
Safely navigate and operate Class A or B CDL pump trucks with manual transmissions to various job sites.
Execute the pumping and cleaning of residential and commercial septic systems and grease interceptors.
Conduct thorough inspections of wastewater tanks to identify and report system concerns to customers.
Ensure 100% compliance with DOT, environmental, and company safety protocols during all waste handling.
Manage precise service documentation and waste disposal logs to maintain regulatory standards.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure truck and pump reliability.
Deliver professional, respectful customer service as a primary representative of the company in the field.
Occasional confined space entry, you will need to be comfortable with tight spaces.
Must be comfortable working in various environments, including sewage, waste, and more.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid Class A or B CDL License.
Proven experience driving and operating vehicles with manual transmissions.
Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and perform labor-intensive work in diverse weather conditions.
Clean driving record and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle outdoor, hands-on tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience operating vacuum or pump trucks in a commercial setting.
Background in construction, plumbing, or environmental services.
Minimum of 3 year of professional CDL driving experience.
