General Summary:

Looking for someone experienced in the restoration of residential and commercial buildings damaged by fire, water and storm.

Major areas of responsibility:

Qualifications:

5 years minimum in construction field as Lead Carpenter or 2 years as SuperintendentStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsKnowledgeable in the insurance industry; reconstruction and repairs related to fire, water and storm damage. Responsible for managing manpower, subs, and resources.Capable of managing multi-faceted tasks.Experience reading and understanding blueprints and engineering drawings. Exceptional organization skills and detail orientedExecuting work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.Restoration specific knowledge regarding operations, equipment, methods, and materialsAdvanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and quality control Computer skills – specifically word processing programs, and e-mail

Preferred Qualifications:

100% responsible for quality controlLead by example and maintain high visibility on-site.Professionally represent Charter.Establish clear expectations for all site personnel.Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policiesAddress substandard work promptly.Maintain proper documentation and communication regarding daily’s, submittals, RFI’s, and change orders.Complete punch lists in a timely manner Forecast manpower consistent with scope of work and within budget allocation.Procure materials based on progress and schedule to allow lead time to coordinate planning of delivery, assess quality, quantity / amount, and cost.Analyze production problems and recommend solutions.Develop, maintain and communicate schedules to manage subcontractor timelines, inspections, milestones, and quality control. Continually strive for excellence Arrive on time and prepare for all meetings.Engage in professional conduct regarding conflict management, problem resolution, and performance issues and assist with training and skill development.Experienced using Bluebeam, Microsoft office and Microsoft Project
