What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be a key driver of member success—balancing hands-on financial services with relationship building and operational excellence.

Deliver Exceptional Member Service

• Assist members with everyday financial needs, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service in all member interactions
• Open and maintain member accounts while ensuring a smooth onboarding experience

Support Lending & Financial Solutions

• Assist with consumer lending activities, including personal and auto loans
• Guide members through loan applications and basic credit decisions
• Help members understand credit union products and services that support their goals

Strengthen Member Relationships

• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions
• Build trust through consistent, respectful, and professional service
• Deliver meaningful conversations that support long-term financial wellness

Support Branch Operations & Accuracy

• Ensure daily transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with credit union policies and procedures
• Support a safe, secure, and well-organized branch environment

Represent North Star in the Community

• Build strong relationships within the Minot Air Force Base community
• Represent North Star with professionalism, integrity, and care in every interaction

What You Bring

• Experience in banking, credit unions, retail, customer service, or financial services preferred
• Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for helping people
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, member-focused environment
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
• Basic knowledge of financial products, lending, or account services (or willingness to learn)
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Professional branch and office environment within a financial services setting
• Extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer use
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and system navigation
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds (files, supplies, or branch materials)
