Job Description
Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced CDL A Drivers to join our team who can safely transport goods and materials, meet delivery schedules, and provide excellent customer service. This role involves the safe transport and delivery of materials by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations while traveling to and from designated locations, verifying loads, and maintaining shipping records. This is not a full-time driving position; both local and over-the-road (OTR) opportunities are available to match individual preferences and lifestyle. When not driving, this role will support operations within the shipping department.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver various products locally and make occasional overnight deliveries (including occasional weekends as needed)
• Document date/time of arrival and conduct two party inspections prior to offloading
• Maintain receipts and complete expense reports
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment
• Operate forklifts (certification required)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and submit written condition reports
• Review dispatch paperwork to determine load details and verify accuracy
• Report all accidents and incidents involving drivers or company equipment
• Communication delays due to breakdowns, weather, traffic, or emergencies
• Represent the company professionally through responsible driving and appearance
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness using 5S standards
• Secure cargo using blocks, straps, ropes, and other appropriate methods
• Check equipment prior to servicing (fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.)
• Perform other related duties as required

Knowledge and Experience Requirements
• Valid CDL A driver’s license
• Education equivalent to a high school diploma
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug testing requirements
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Demonstrated computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software
• Experience with forklift operation (certification required)
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices
