Job Title: GENERAL PRODUCTION II
Location: 899 Montreal Circle
Department: Warehouse
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri
Pay Type: Hourly employee, starting wage of $27.90/hour; finishing wage of $35.73/hour
Additional: Unionized manufacturing plant, benefit package offered; two-year wage progression
SUMMARY
Loads, unloads, moves materials, and helps pull orders to be shipped.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reads bills of lading to prepare orders for shipments.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets by hand.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Helps load and unload trucks for outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Stacks or assembles cases into mixed pallets and appropriately wraps pallets for transport.
- Prepares outgoingUPSorders daily.
- Takes monthly inventory of corrugated containers and other miscellaneous supplies.
- Operates industrial truck (forklifts) or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Assists in roll material handling when needed.
- Maintains a neat and clean work area.
- Assists production with material handling when needed.
- Uses hand-held scanner as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs and other symbolic representations of data.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
