About the role
Rippling is opening a Singapore office and we're looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant to be one of the first people through the door. You won't inherit a playbook, you'll help write it. That means you'll need to bring your own structure, your own judgment, and the confidence to act on both.
This is a presales role - your scope spans the full breadth of Rippling's platform, HR, Payroll, and Global products, with particular depth in global payroll and compliance across the APAC region. You'll work closely with Account Executives and sales leadership in Singapore and across the region.
Rippling SCs drive value for customers and enable a best-in-industry buying experience. You'll have a direct hand in building out the Singapore SC function, influencing GTM strategy, and connecting what you see on the ground to how we build and sell.
What you'll do- Partner with the Sales team as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, helping them understand how Rippling's HR and Global Payroll solutions map to their specific business needs
- Lead technical demonstrations and proof of concepts across HR and Global Payroll, tailored to a customer's objectives and decision-making process
- Cover both HR suite and Global Payroll, translating complex cross-border payroll requirements into clear, compelling business value
- Develop deep expertise in payroll processes, statutory requirements, and compliance standards across multiple countries in the APAC region, and stay ahead of regulatory changes
- Create and maintain technical and value-driven content that supports Sales in building conviction outside of demos
- Surface product feedback and market intelligence to Product and Engineering proactively, not just when asked
- Help build the Singapore SC practice from the ground up identifying what's working, what's missing, and what we need to compete and win in this market
- Operate with a high degree of independence: you'll set priorities, manage your own pipeline of pre-sales activity, and keep your manager informed without needing to be chased
- 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales or client-facing technical role, with genuine expertise across HRIS/HCM and Global Payroll, you need to be credible in both
- Strong working knowledge of payroll processes in at least two APAC markets; broader regional coverage is a significant advantage
- Clear, confident communication and presentation skills, you can hold a room with a CFO and then walk an HR Director through a demo in the same day
- A proactive communication style, you tell your manager what you're seeing, what you need, and what's not working, rather than waiting to be asked
- Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine excitement about building, you're energised by the blank canvas, not unsettled by it
- Strong instincts about people and deals, backed by the discipline to follow through
- A collaborative spirit, you know that being a self-starter doesn't mean going it alone, and you actively contribute to the broader SC team
- You'll be among the first employees in Rippling's Singapore office, a real opportunity to shape culture, process, and team from day one
- You'll have scope that most SC roles don't offer: spanning HR and Global Payroll, across a region that's central to Rippling's growth
