About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, The Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping and elevating the LUMINOR brand across all platforms. You will create visually engaging materials that support Sales, Marketing, Production, Engineering, and customer‑facing initiatives. This role blends creativity and precision, producing product artwork, digital content, print materials, and brand assets that keep our multi‑brand identity consistent and impactful. Key Responsibilities
Creative Development and Brand Execution
- Develop, design, and produce all digital and print marketing materials including literature, price booklets, labels, manuals, advertisements, presentations, catalogue content, web assets, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all graphics and digital materials align with LUMINOR’s multi‑brand structure.
- Manage recurring product‑related creative updates including labels, screens, QR cards, product image templates, and packaging artwork.
- Create and maintain visual assets for marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels including newsletters, social posts, banners, ads, and billboards.
- Design and update website graphics for Luminor and other partner platforms.
- Create custom proposal layouts, internal and external presentations, and miscellaneous printed materials such as business cards, postcards, plaques, and displays.
- Produce event‑related graphics including posters, signage, and materials for company initiatives, employee programs, and internal communications.
- Capture, retouch, and colour‑correct images for product, marketing, and web use.
- Maintain brand guidelines and ensure compliance in all produced materials.
- Maintain master files, ensure proper version control, and manage comprehensive brand asset libraries.
- Keep design assets current, organized, and accessible for internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Production, Engineering, Customer Support, and Management.
- Finalize artwork for print vendors and coordinate printed proof approvals and confirmations.
- Support content management across digital platforms including website updates, newsletters, email templates, and digital marketing assets.
- Manage and maintain directories of recurring materials including screens, labels, manuals, catalogues, packaging, and literature.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop promotional materials, tradeshow graphics, banners, and booth artwork.
- Partner with Engineering to support renders, product visuals, display samples, engineering roadmaps, technical documents, and 3D print output.
- Provide cross‑departmental design support including production artwork, internal communications, HR materials, facility and safety signage, and operational displays.
- Provide brand asset support to OEM partners and internal departments.
Software and Tools
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro.
- Ability to update and manage content across Umbraco, Mailchimp, Loomly, GA4, Google Ads, and Meta Business Suite.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage digital files and content libraries using cloud‑based storage systems.
- Familiarity with basic video tools for trimming, updating, or integrating creative assets.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills supported by a strong digital portfolio.
- 2+ years of graphic design experience, with preference for in‑house experience.
- Post‑secondary education in Graphic Design or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CorelDRAW.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of photography principles, retouching, and colour correction for print and web.
- Expertise in preparing artwork for print including bleed, trim, colour profiles, and production specifications.
- Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail and brand aesthetics.
- Experience with video editing or motion graphics.
- Experience with website or content platforms such as Umbraco, Amazon A+ Content, Shopify, or Mailchimp.
- Experience supporting tradeshow design and event branding
- Compensation ranges from $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience
