Mowing / Lawn Crew Member $16/hour in Mount Gilead, Ohio at Flying Horse Farms

Position Summary

This role is responsible for basic grounds maintenance with a focus on mowing and weed eating to keep camp property clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Mow assigned areas using a riding mower
• Weed eat/trim around buildings, fences, and walkways
• Keep grounds neat by clearing grass clippings and debris as needed
• Perform basic equipment care (fueling, cleaning, reporting issues)
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment

Schedule

• Flexible hours based on weather and mowing needs
• Primarily daytime work

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to safely operate a riding mower and weed eater
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable and able to complete assigned tasks independently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a riding mower
• Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver for extended periods while trimming
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, and operate equipment safely
• Comfortable working in outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and uneven terrain
• Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed to complete tasks
