Assembler in Chaska, Minnesota at EXACTEC LLC

Exactec Inc. is a leader in plastic fabrication specializing in retail store fixtures and displays. Located in Chaska, MN we have an immediate full time opportunity for a dependable team player in our Assembly department. The individual in this position performs manual labor in a production environment and has a variety of experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devises and a steady hand to produce a quality product. Woodworking and model shop experience is a plus.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Follow detailed instructions
• Perform assembly and other duties from supervisor
• Maintain a neat and clean work area
• Responsible for quality control which includes making necessary adjustments within the specifications
• Cross train in other departments as requested by supervisor
• Report any quality or safety issues to supervisor
• Maintain a solid attendance record to meet productivity standards
• Provide on the job training to new employees

Qualifications:

1. Minimum two years experience, college or trade school may be considered in lieu of experience

2. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required includes a high school diploma or GED equivalent

3. Experience with power hand tools
