A fast-growing, high-end catering and events team is seeking dependable and motivated Event Cooks to support off-site productions throughout the Chicago area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments, collaborating with a team, and executing food at a high level across a variety of unique venues.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with food prep, cooking, and execution for off-site events
- Follow recipes, production lists, and chef direction with consistency
- Support setup and breakdown of kitchen stations at event locations
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with chefs and team members to ensure smooth service
- Adapt quickly to different kitchens, venues, and event formats

You’ll have visibility into available shifts ahead of time, including key details like location, timing, and scope — giving you full control over your schedule.
Availability Expectations
- Must be available for at least 2–3 weekend days per month
- Most events take place on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays

- Events are held at various locations throughout the Chicago area
- Reliable transportation is required
- This role involves being on your feet for extended periods and working in different environments (indoor/outdoor)
Must legally be able to work within the US.
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours at a time
Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
Must have valid Food Handlers Certification
