We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our leadership team at our facility in Aurora, CO. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, production support, and outbound shipping. This role ensures materials and finished goods move safely, efficiently, and accurately throughout the facility while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. This position is accountable for operational execution, team leadership, inventory accuracy, compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA and OSHA requirements, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.
The typical hiring range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000 annually and is based on several factors such as education, work experience, skills, certifications, location, etc. In addition to pay, Dessert Holdings offers benefits such as a choice of comprehensive medical plans, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and retirement contribution to all eligible employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and provide direction to 5–12 warehouse associates, managing attendance, performance, overtime control while supporting hiring and onboarding.
- Train, coach, and develop employees to meet productivity, safety, and quality standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee inbound receiving of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory transactions within ERP/WMS (D365 preferred).
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and support cycle counting programs.
- Enforce FIFO/FEFO rotation standards.
- Support production by ensuring timely staging and material availability.
- Coordinate finished goods movement from production to freezer and outbound shipping.
- Ensure proper labeling, shrink wrapping, staging, and loading procedures.
- Enforce SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA, and internal food safety standards.
- Ensure allergen segregation and temperature-sensitive ingredient management.
- Conduct quality checks to prevent damaged materials from being received or shipped.
- Ensure required logs, documentation, and audit records are completed accurately.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safe material handling practices.
- Ensure proper lockout/tagout and equipment safety compliance.
- Maintain warehouse, cooler, freezer, and dock organization.
- Oversee operation of forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
- Complete daily reports and operational documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5+ years warehouse experience in food manufacturing or distribution.
- 2+ years supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience using inventory management systems (D365 preferred).
- Strong understanding of SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA requirements.
- Knowledge of allergens, temperature-controlled storage, and FIFO practices.
- Forklift certified (PIT trainer certification preferred).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Flexible schedule as business needs require.
PREFERRED
- Associates degree preferred.
- Experience in multi-temperature food manufacturing environments.
