Purchasing Buyer at Red Dot LLC – Athens, Texas

Red Dot Buildings is in search of a prime candidate to join our team as a Buyer. If you have outstanding verbal/written communication, excel at problem solving, decision making, are analytical and have strong organization skills, come join our team.

Our buyers core focus is maintaining an uninterrupted flow of materials, ensuring they arrive on time, at the right place and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• The tactical execution of procurement, acting as a bridge between internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ensure material is acquired on time, at the right price and delivers as scheduled.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve any discrepancies between ordered and billed materials.
• Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Foster productive working relationships within the purchasing department and across other departments within Red Dot.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Proficiency with business software such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, Smartsheet, and Basecamp is a plus.
