Position Overview
The Purchasing Coordinator supports day-to-day procurement activities to ensure materials and services are sourced, ordered, and delivered in alignment with production schedules and AS9100 quality standards. This role works closely with suppliers, production, quality, and engineering teams to maintain accurate purchasing records, resolve discrepancies, and support on-time delivery performance.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within ERP systems in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support purchasing and work with purchase orders (POs), including those related to change orders.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve PO and invoice-related questions and issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation to support project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and aerospace standards.
- Support project teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to prioritize purchasing needs and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination experience in manufacturing.
- Aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with purchase order processes, inventory tracking, and supplier coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings or blueprints preferred.
- Strong ERP experience required (Visual Manufacturing preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing, and typing.

- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
