Cashier/Stocker/Person in Charge at Lynn's Inc. & Affiliates – Summerset, South Dakota

We are looking for a part-time, multi-purpose role that supports multiple areas of store operations including cashiering, stocking, and shift supervisor responsibilities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and working across different areas of the store.

Evening & weekend shift

24-30 hours per week

Customer Service & Cashiering

• Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service to all customers
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process transactions
• Handle cash, cards, SNAP/WIC, and other payment types
• Verify ID and follow all alcohol and tobacco sales laws and company procedures
• Assist with bagging, carry-outs, and general customer needs

• Unload deliveries and stock shelves according to store standards
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and proper inventory movement
• Build and maintain displays that support sales and promotions
• Ensure shelves are faced, organized, and fully stocked
• Maintain clean and organized backroom and storage areas

• Provide leadership support during assigned shifts
• Assist with customer concerns and operational questions
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Support team members and help coordinate workflow
• Approve transactions requiring supervisory authorization

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and support multiple areas of the store
• Prior retail experience preferred, but not required
• Must be 18 years or older to perform PIC duties and alcohol/tobacco sales
