About the Role:

The ADC Attendant PT - GIPB plays a vital role in providing compassionate and attentive care to adults in a social assistance setting at the Boynton Beach/Village Sq ADC facility. This position focuses on supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The attendant will work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to implement individualized care plans and promote client independence. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or social assistance role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene practices in a care environment.
  • Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Experience working with adults in a social assistance or healthcare setting.
  • Training in client rights and confidentiality standards.
  • Familiarity with community resources and support services.
  • Bilingual abilities to better serve a diverse client population.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living such as grooming, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
  • Monitor client health and behavior, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to supervisory staff.
  • Facilitate social and recreational activities that encourage client participation and mental stimulation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with facility policies and health regulations.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a respectful and caring atmosphere.
