About This Position

Transporter Radiology FT

  • JOB RELATIONSHIPS
    • Responsible to: Radiology/Imaging Manager and Department Director
  • DEFINITION OF POSITION
    • Responsible for ambulatory patient transportation to the Radiology Department and back to the floors in accordance with hospital policy. Communicates with staff, patients, families, and all healthcare members to ensure safe transport. Also assists with other duties required by the department. Participates in Performance improvement acvivities.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional
      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Proficient computer skills including MS Word.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Must maintain BLS/CPR certification with AHA program.
