Behavioral Health Therapist at Jefferson Community Health Center – Fairbury, Nebraska

Jefferson Community Health & Life is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist to join the growing Behavioral Health Department at JCH&L in Fairbury Nebraska.

Hours: Salaried - Exempt. Hours: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Behavioral Health Therapist provides outpatient counseling and behavioral health services to patients across the lifespan. This position completes assessments, treatment plans, and therapy services under the supervision of an independently licensed provider and works collaboratively with clinical and community partners to support patient well-being and continuity of care.

Qualifications:

* Current Nebraska license as a Provisional/Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (P/LMHP), Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), or Psychologist, required.

*Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Clinical Counseling, Therapeutic mental health, Psychology, or other related behavioral health field preferred.

* Minimum 2 years of progressive counseling experience.

*Must have a current license/certification in Nebraska.

* Ability to keep patient information confidential.

* Must have excellent communication skills.

* Excellent time management skills.

* Empathy for patients.
