About This Position
We are looking for people who want to start or continue their career in education. The role involves facilitating a class of secondary school students (Year 11 & 12) who are enrolled in either of the following qualifications:
52895WA Certificate IV in Preparation for Health & Nursing Studies (PHNS)
HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (HSA)
The right candidate must be comfortable working with this age group.
Delivery location:
Bunbury
Schedule: Our classes run in alignment with school Terms 1, 2 & 3, with students attending a full-day class one day a week for 30 weeks in total.
Flexibility: New employees can take one, two, or three days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays.
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122): An advantage if you already hold this qualification; however, we would be willing to train the right person to attain this qualification over time. Professional development, on-the-job training, and mentoring are provided to successful candidates who are new to VET and facilitation. The main thing we are looking for is industry experience and skills, and a desire to explore an educational career path.

The right candidate will have the following abilities:
Be comfortable presenting in front of students and display the confidence to explain and deliver the required content clearly and engagingly
Be genuinely interested in and capable of working with 16 to 18-year-old students
Work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously
Communicate professionally through online group chats and digital platforms
Manage change positively and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn new skills
Be capable and confident using technology in the classroom, including:
(training and familiarisation time provided)
Learning Management System (LMS) – Axcelerate.
eLearning platforms and online assessment tools
Tablets, laptops, and AV display devices
Various educational apps
Content Delivery
The position requires you to be capable and confident in using your experience, skills, and education to deliver modules of training, including:
Cert IV PHNS
Anatomy & Physiology.
Medical Terminology.
Academic Communication, including referencing.
Microbiology, Chemistry.
Body Systems (nervous, respiratory, digestive, muscular/skeletal, etc)
Cert III HSA
Medical terminology
Infection control
Anatomy and body systems
Assist with movement
Clinical measurement
