VAS Processor (Temporary Short-Term Full-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a Temporary Short-Term full-time position that perform Value Added Services (VAS) to product so it can be added into inventory to be sold.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate damaged products to see if product is salvageable as a saleable product.Perform cleaning, repackaging, etc. to prepare products to be added back into inventory.Alert Inventory Control if product is deemed “charity” goods.Change price stickers, marketing flashers, etc. to ready products for sale.Crosstrain in picking and scanning functions.Additional duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Relevant Work Experience

Prior warehouse experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

Lift/transition up to 50 pounds Able to work independentlyDemonstrate the ability to calmly handle busy production demands and respectfully interact with co-workers to accomplish tasks and goals.Carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally. Stand or sit for 8 – 10 hours per day depending on work activity.Abe to tolerate industrial environmentMust be able to bend and reach to access product at various levels.
