About This Position
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role coordinates maintenance activities, manages personnel, and drives continuous improvement in equipment performance and uptime. This person reports to Maintenance Engineering Manager.

- Supervise, train, and lead maintenance technicians and support staff
- Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance work (preventive, predictive, and corrective)
- Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Monitor and improve equipment reliability and overall plant performance
- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory
- Coordinate with production and other departments to align maintenance schedules
- Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs
- Assist in capital projects, equipment installations, and upgrades
- Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, TPM, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to:
- Frequently required to walk, climb, or maintain balance.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- Must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly exposed to:
- Construction Environment with Dust and Noise when working in the field.
- General Warehouse Environment, not temperature controlled
- Airports, airplanes, and other places that are associated with travelling domestically and/or internationally
