Automotive DMV/Deal Clerk in Ashland, Oregon at Butler Ford

Butler Ford is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Deal & DMV Clerk. This position is responsible for processing vehicle deals, handling title and registration paperwork, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with dealership and state requirements.

• Process and review vehicle deals for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and submit DMV paperwork including titles, registrations, license plates, and lien releases.
• Maintain organized records of all deal jackets, contracts, titles, and registration documents.
• Enter customer, vehicle, and financing information into dealership systems accurately.
• Ensure all paperwork complies with state regulations, lender requirements, and dealership policies.
• Communicate with sales staff, finance managers, lenders, customers, and DMV offices to resolve paperwork issues.
• Assist customers with title, registration, and contract-related questions.
• Track outstanding titles, funding, and registration items as needed.
• File and maintain physical and electronic records in an organized manner.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dealership, title clerk, DMV, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of dealership paperwork and DMV/title processes is a plus.
