Summary

The Sales and Proposal Engineer is responsible for marketing and selling all of the company’s steelmaking and casting equipment products related to gas cleaning and environmental technology in the USMCA market, provide aftermarket support in the form of service and revamp proposals, and to represent the company’s interests in general.

What you'll do

• Responsible for sales in North America for logistic and flat product solutions in the metal industry.
• Responsibilities include:
  • Business and sales planning
  • Customer development
  • Product development
  • Application engineering
  • Assist in Contract negotiations
  • Assist in spare parts service and sales
  • Assist in managing Key Accounts
• As part of the sales process, responsible for quality of proposals and coordination of appropriate departments at SUS

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 25% to 30% travel
• Work in a team based environment
• High motivation to be proactive with ideas to serve the customer
• Commercial understanding
• Ability to pass a drug test
