Nursing Attendant at University Health System- San Antonio – San Antonio, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine nursing duties. Provides competent assistance in caring for the comfort and welfare of patients and for the efficient performance of assignments.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma, its equivalent, or higher degree is required. Must have a current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card. Completion of a recognized nurse aide training program with three months of clinical studies is preferred; or, you can be a Medical Assistant graduate that has completed an externship within the University Health System. Nurse aide certification with recent nurse attendant experience is preferred.
