Short-Form Video Editor (TikTok) – Growth to Full-Time in at Spotlight Media

About Us:
We are looking for a highly skilled Short-Form Video Editor specialized for TikTok to help create engaging and high-converting branded content for TikTok, especially TikTok Shop. Our content style is Founder-Led Brand (FLB) driven content, incorporating voiceovers, b-roll editing, storytelling, captions, and strategic pacing to maximize retention.

This role starts as part-time (minimum 6 videos per week) with potential for full-time based on performance. You’ll be working with provided scripts, reference edits, and creative direction.

• Edit 6+ short-form videos (<60 seconds each) per week optimized for TikTok/TikTok Shop
• Integrate dynamic storytelling through provided voiceovers, captions, and engaging cuts
• Incorporate b-roll, effects to enhance watch time and engagement
• Follow provided editing style references and scripts given to maintain brand consistency
• Implement trend-based editing techniques to maximize reach and engagement
• Revise content based on feedback and performance insights

• Proven experience in short-form content editing (TikTok/Reels/YT)
• Strong knowledge of storytelling, pacing, and retention strategies
• Proficiency in any editing software
• Ability to mimic high-quality FLB (founder led video) editing styles
• Understanding of social media trends, viral hooks, and platform algorithms
• Bonus: Experience working with DTC brands, e-commerce, or personal brands
