At ms consultants, you'll collaborate closely with a dedicated manager and mentor on projects aligned with your field of study, enhancing your classroom learning with real-world applications. You’ll be involved in live projects within our Transportation Business Unit, tackling real-life design challenges and delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
About the Transportation Business Unit
The Transportation Business Unit provides transportation engineering services for all project types and scopes, from the largest interstate systems to local municipality roads. Some of the services provided include roadway and intersection design, corridor improvements, bridge replacement and rehabilitation, and environmental documentation. Our traffic, highway, structural, and environmental planning engineers work collaboratively to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and long-term transportation solutions
- Undertake structural design assignments, progressively assuming more responsibility under the guidance of a department manager
- Support technical staff on day-to-day projects, providing valuable assistance
- Work with the project team to ensure deliverables and services are being provided to client’s satisfaction
- Gain exposure to all organizational levels, including interactions with senior leadership.
- Receive ongoing guidance and feedback from mentors and managers aligned with our core competencies to support your growth.
- Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, or related discipline from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Detail-oriented personality with strong technical skills
- Fast learner who is detail-oriented and the ability to work in a team environment
- Good verbal and communication skills
