We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing windows and glass components for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects requiring precision, craftsmanship, and safety awareness.

Duties

• Perform glass installation and window installation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fitting, and securing glass components.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation and repair tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure proper installation specifications.
• Assist in the handling and transportation of glass materials to prevent damage or injury.
• Apply carpentry skills as needed for framing or structural adjustments related to window installations.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, or replacements of existing windows and glass units.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, or clients to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in glass installation, window installation, or related construction fields.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures associated with glass handling and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or construction plans accurately.
• Familiarity with handling glass materials safely and efficiently.
• Construction experience with carpentry skills is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
